So tomorrow I'm off to Vegas, wooo hooo. I've never been and am pretty excited to see Ashley, go sit by a pool in 90 degree weather, and just general tom foolery.

Wish me luck and any tips on things I SHOULD do or SHOULDN'T do.

Running.... Wanting to do some 5K runs and a half marathon. Does anyone have any favorite running spots where I could get in some miles or tips on training.

So I hope I make it; I'm here in Houston, Texas for work. I hope that I don't get shot or something, everyone here looks really confused by the idea of an asian. Anyway, looks like we're ahead of schedule which means i"ll be back in Seattle late afternoon/early eve... Its really hard to try to eat vegetarian in a state that has MEAT everywhere!!!

Its amazing what happens when you start drinking after taking a few days off and not eating dinner. After work I went to meet up with an old friend from college for happy hour, and in an effort to save some money decided to drink beer. Since I was saving sooo much money proceeded to drink another 3. I then headed off to Shorty's where I continued to drink = drunk.

All in all a pretty good night... and I didn't spend more than $20.

I am back from SF now...although sadly it hurts to laugh since I think I may have bruised my ribs (or stuff in that general area) from either A. throwing up B. falling asleep hunched over the toilet seat C. a combo of A and B

Either way I had a great trip, even after I sliced my finger open by slamming it in the car door.

My weekend was overall surprisingly good...I mean there was some bullshit to deal with and sadly no birds slipping on ice and eating shit but whatcha going to do.

Friday: good sushi, lots of beer, and a boy

Saturday: running in the fucking cold, Costco which is always fun, the 1978 season of Dr. Who (which is amazing in a 70's, British TV way), more good food, wine, beer, and a good time at a wedding party thing

Sunday: got a new TV show to watch called Dead like Me, free drinks at Rosebud, beer, watched Thank you for Smoking, pool, more beer, and a boy

I think I've realized that I drink probably more than I actually eat which isn't the best thing ever but it could be worse, I mean at least I do eat.

So its decided first dates are like interviews...tiresome and never very fun. I think that I should have potential dates go through a screening process of sorts.
